Both in my personal and professional life, I believe safe and meaningful connections are essential to healing and personal growth. I strive to offer a safe and nonjudgmental environment where clients are met with unconditional positive regard while they work to better understand themselves and reach their goals. I believe in the importance of building a strong, collaborative therapeutic relationship with my clients in order to best support them on their journey. I strongly believe in the resilience each person possesses, and will work with clients to reflect on their experiences, explore impacts, and develop strategies for coping. I maintain that each person is the expert of their own life story, and work to empower them to use their strengths and resources to improve their well-being.

My approach to treatment is integrative and tailored to the client’s presenting concerns. Generally, my work with clients is strength-based, trauma-informed, and integrates theory and approaches from various modalities including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Humanistic theories, Narrative Therapy, Emotion Focused Therapy, Trauma Informed Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Positive Psychology, Mindfulness and more.
